Mike Hoffman

Mike Hoffman was born and raised in Alberta and worked the majority of his life in the emergency services field as a fire fighter / paramedic. Mike worked in a variety of locations throughout the province and enjoyed a 27 year career in the fire service retiring in 2018.

Today Mike is the owner of Studio Eh Productions & Aerial Observation Services, a photography / videography company based in Lethbridge that specializes in the use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems. Mikes photography and videography work has been featured on Wild TV shows like “Maximum Limit Fishing” and “Fur Harvesters NWT”. Mike is also the lead flight instructor for AOS and teaches pilots who want to get their pilot certification from Transport Canada. Mike is also the author of the book, Pilot Manual for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.

Mike is still passionate about emergency services and now combines his knowledge of flying RPAS (drones), photography and emergency services, to help people in their time of need. Mike currently volunteers his piloting and photographic expertise with organizations that promote the positive attributes of RPAS use. Mike belongs to several organizations including: Wings of Mercy, Fire Drones, and Search & Rescue Drones.

When not flying RPAS, Mike can be found spending time with his wife of 31 years Lila, and his two grown children Courtney, & Douglas, and his new granddaughter. Mike currently resides and works in Lethbridge Alberta.
